An equinox is an event in which a planet’s subsolar point passes through its Equator.
Today, day and night are equal everywhere in the world. Such incidents happen in September and March every year. The sun moves from one hemisphere to the other. September Equinox is called Southward Equinox. It is also called the period when the sun crosses the equator (the imaginary line running east-west along the middle of the Earth's poles. It is also called the equator).
Equinox means equal night. It is a Latin word. But in reality, day and night are not exactly equal due to the angular shape of the sun and the refraction of light in the atmosphere. But day and night are very close to 12 hours. From this time onwards, the sun rises south and sets south in the Northern Hemisphere.
All Questers, enjoy Day and Night equally.
