Previously, PUBG Mobile provided up to 90fps for enhanced gameplay, and the developers are elevating this experience with the latest game version. However, it's unclear whether the 120fps mode will be accessible for both Android and iOS devices.
Your PUBG MOBILE experience is about to get a lot smoother with 120 FPS support coming in Version 3.2. Stay tuned for more information and device compatibility.
PUBG Mobile, now offered as BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India), is anticipated to incorporate a 120fps feature soon. Krafton has recently rolled out version 3.1, with an upcoming update to version 3.2 expected to include the 120fps mode.
The 120fps mode on PUBG Mobile/BGMI is expected to perform well on high-end and upper mid-range smartphones. However, this feature might not be available on entry-level devices due to the significant computational resources required, especially in terms of graphics power, even at medium or low graphics settings.
Beta users are currently testing the 120fps mode on both PUBG Mobile and BGMI. Upon selecting the 120fps mode on PUBG Mobile, users will receive a warning about potential heating issues and increased power consumption. Smartphone brands also need to optimize their devices to fully utilize this upcoming feature.
Users with the latest Android flagships, equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 or equivalent chips, should handle the 120fps mode without any problems. Additionally, iPhones with 120Hz displays, including the previous generation iPhone 14 Pro series, are expected to support this feature effortlessly.
