    BGIS 2024 is here, and it's bigger than ever!

    This is your chance to claim glory and etch your name in the history of Indian mobile gaming.

    The biggest open-for-all Battlegrounds Mobile India tournament is throwing down the gauntlet. Are you ready to rise above the competition and become a legend? Sharpen your skills, assemble your squad, and prepare to dominate the battlfield!

    What is BGIS?

    BGIS or BattleGrounds Mobile India Series is the biggest open-for all tournament for all the Passionate BGMI Players who want to make a name in eSports for themselves.

    This is the Best Platform to showcase your talent and get a headstart on your eSports Journey.

    Format :


    This year, BGIS is having a very interesting format consisting of :

    • In-Game Qualifiers
    • The Grind
    • Round 1
    • Round 2
    • Round 3
    • Round 4
    • Semi-Finals Week 1
    • Semi-Finals Week 2
    • Grand Finals.

    The Grind - 4th April to 28th April

    • 256 invited Teams are divided into 16 Groups.
    • Each group will play 3 matches in 2 Weeks.
    • Based on the overall standings, Teams will be reshuffled into 16 Groups.
    • Each group will play 3 matches in next 2 Weeks.
    • Based on the Overall Standings :

    #1 - #16 Teams move on to Round 4.

    #17 - #32 Teams move on to Round 3.

    #33 - #64 Teams move on to Round 2.



    In-Game Qualifiers

    • This is the first and foremost barrier for all the registered teams.
    • In this Round, All the teams need to play 15Classic Matches with their Playing 4.
    • Out of which the Best 10 Matches are counted in order to select 1024 Teams.

    Top1024 Teams Move on to Round 1.


    Round 1 (2 May to 5 May)

    • 1024 Teams from In-Game Qualifiers are divided into 64 groups.
    • Each Group will play 3 matches.

    Top 7 Teams from each group (448 Teams) advance to Round 2. 

    32 Additional teams will advance to Round 2 on the basis of Overall Standing.

    Total of 480 Teams move on to Round 2.


    Round 2 (9 May to 12 May)

    • 480 Teams from Round 1 and 32 teams from The Grind (#33-#64).
    • Total 512 Teams are divided into 32 Groups.
    • Each Group will play 6 matches.


    Top 7 Teams from each group (224 Teams) advance to Round 3.

    16 Additional teams will advance to Round 3 on the basis of Overall Standing.

    Total of 240 Teams move on to Round 3.


    Round 3 (16 May to 19 May)

    • 240 Teams from Round 2 and 16 Teams from The Grind (#17-#32).
    • Total 256 Teams are divided into 16 Groups.
    • Each Group will play 6 matches.


    Top 3 Teams from each group (48 Teams) advance to Round 4.

    16 Additional teams will move to Wildcard Round on the basis of Overall Standing.

    Total of 48 Teams move on to Round 4.


    Round 4 (23 May to 26 May)

    • 48 Teams from Round 3 and 16 Teams from The Grind (#1-#16).
    • Total 64 Teams  are divided into 4 Groups.
    • Each Group will play 6 Matches.

    Top 4 Teams from each group (16 Teams) advance to Semi-Finals Week 1.

    Remaining 48 Teams move on to Wildcard Round.


    Wildcard Entry Round (30 May to 2 June)

    • 48 Teams from Round 4 and 16 Teams from Round 3.
    • Total 64 Teams are divided into 4 Groups.
    • Each Group will play 3 matches in 2 Days.
    • Based on the Overall Standings, Teams will be reshuffled into 4 Groups.
    • Each Group will play 3 Matches in next 2 Days.

    Top 16 Teams based on Overall Standings will move on to Semi-Finals Week 1.


    Semi-Finals Week 1 (6 June to 9 June)

    • 16 Teams from Round 4 and 16 Teams from Wildcard Entry Round.
    • Total 32 Teams are divided into 4 Groups.
    • Each Group will play 12 Matches in a Round Robin Format.

    Top 8 Teams advance to The Grand Finals.

    Remaining 24 Teams move on to Semi-FInals Week 2.


    Semi-Finals Week 2 (13 June to 16 June)

    • 24 Teams from Semi-Finals Week 1.
    • Total 24 Teams are divided into 3 Groups.
    • Each Group plays 16 Matches in a Double Round Robin Format.

    Top 8 Teams advance to The Grand Finals.


    The Grand Finals (28 June to 30 June)

    • This is the final stage of the tournament in a LAN event with Audience.
    • 8 Teams from Semi-Finals Week 1 and 8 Teams from Semi-Finals Week 2.
    • Each Team will play 18 Matches in 3 Days.

    Points Distribution in Matches :

    • #1 place: 10 points.
    • #2 place: 6 points. 
    • #3 place: 5 points.
    • #4 place: 4 points.
    • #5 place: 3 points.
    • #6 place: 2 points.
    • #7 place: 1 point.
    • #8 place: 1 point. 
    • #9 - #16 place: 0 points.
    • 1 point for each finish.

    Position in Overall Standings

    • Champions - INR 60,00,000
    • Runners Up - INR 30,00,000
    • 2nd Runners Up - INR 20,00,000
    • #4 Place - INR 15,00,000
    • #5 Place - INR 12,50,000
    • #6 Place - INR 10,00,000
    • #7 Place - INR 9,00,000
    • #8 Place - INR 8,00,000
    • #9-#10 Place - INR 6,00,000
    • #11-#12 Place - INR 4,00,000
    • #13-#16 Place - INR 2,50,000

    Other Prizes 

    • MVP - INR 2,50,000
    • Most Finishes - INR 1,00,000
    • Lone Survivor - INR 1,00,000
    • Rampage - INR 1,00,000
