Hello Fam! 

I am here to share kinda bad news for iQOO Users. We are officially rolling-back background stream option which is available for YouTube and Netflix from Android 14. 

This feature will be removed from all models that support background stream option through system updates. 

Why we are rolling back this feature ? 

We are very sorry to bring you a bad experience, after confirmation, due to the business of function adjustment, we are taking down the "Background stream" function. For now, we suggest you check whether the app itself supports this function.

Example: If you have YouTube premium membership, you can go to YouTube Settings - Background and downloads - select "Background play". In this way, when you swipe up to exit YouTube while watching a video, the video will continue to play in a small window on the home screen, and it will still play in the background after locking the screen. 

Is there any possibility to bring back that future ? 

No. There is no official information on this feature to bring back yet.
