1.Google Gemini to Support Music Streaming Apps Soon:

  • Google's AI chatbot, Gemini, is set to offer Android users a more personalized music streaming experience.
  • A new "Select preferred services used to play music" option is being added to the Gemini settings page, allowing users to choose their preferred music streaming provider.

  • Once the feature is ready, users will be able to select a default music streaming app and service among different options, such as Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music, etc., allowing Gemini to play content using that preferred music app with voice commands.

2.YouTube Adds a Handy AI Chatbot to Answer Questions about Videos:

  • YouTube is testing a new AI-powered chatbot feature, called the "Ask" button, which allows users to ask questions about the video they are watching without having to pause it.

  • The AI chatbot is designed to provide real-time answers to video-related questions, such as summarizing a video, discussing a specific section, or providing the pros and cons of a product review. 
  • The AI chatbot is part of Google's broader efforts to incorporate AI-powered features into its services, such as the "Help me write" feature for Gmail and Docs, and the "Create a list" tool for Google Keep.

3.New Chat Filters on WhatsApp Will Help You Find Messages Instantly:

  • WhatsApp has introduced new chat filters that allow users to easily organize and sort through their chats. The filters are divided into three categories: All, Unread, and Groups.

  • This is especially useful for those who find it difficult to navigate through their older messages,it will make it easier for users to organize and manage their chats.
  • The filters will be displayed at the top of the chat window, allowing users to quickly sort and organize their chats. 

4.Google Tightens Grip on YouTube: Third-Party Ad Blockers Targeted:

  • Google is cracking down on third-party YouTube apps and Ad Blockers that go against its Terms of Service.

  • The search giant has encouraged users to get YouTube Premium for an Ad-free experience.

5.Elon Musk Wants New X Users to Pay a Small Fee to Tweet:

  • X will start charging a small fee for its new users to allow them to post, like, or bookmark anyone else's posts.
  • This fee aims to reduce bot and spam account creation on the app.

  • This would prevent new accounts from creating new posts, bookmarking, reposting, or liking others posts on the app. However, new users can still follow other accounts and browse X without paying any fees.
