Qualcomm introduced a new chip called Snapdragon X Plus. It's a ARM rivalry with Apple, Intel, and AMD some competition in making laptops. Let's know about it.

The Snapdragon X Plus is an Oryon CPU. It is a special processor that is faster than others and also uses less power, up to 37% faster and 54% less power. This chip has 10 cores, 42 MB of cache and can run multiple tasks at once at a maximum speed of 3.4 GHz. It also has something called an NPU, which helps it perform complex AI tasks really fast, up to 45 trillion operations per second! This makes it great for things like creating new content with AI.

10 cores clocked at up to 3.4GHz, accompanied by a substantial 42MB cache. The Qualcomm® Adreno™ GPU offers impressive performance, reaching up to 3.8 TFLOPs and supporting DirectX 12. Additionally, the Qualcomm® Hexagon™ NPU enhances AI capabilities with 45 TOPS, including two Micro NPUs on the Qualcomm® Sensing Hub. LPDDR5x memory provides high-speed data transfer at 8448 MT/s, with a capacity of up to 64 GB and a bandwidth of 135 GB/s. Storage options include support for SD v3.0, NVMe SSD over PCIe Gen 4 and UFS 4.0, all built on a cutting-edge 4nm process node.

Snapdragon X Plus also got stunning visuals with a maximum on-device display resolution of eDP v1.4b up to UHD120 HDR10. It also supports impressive external display configurations, including DP v1.4 - 3 displays up to UHD60 HDR10 or 2 displays 5K60. For video processing, the Qualcomm Adreno VPU delivers encoding and decoding capabilities of up to 4K120 10-bit for formats such as H.264, HEVC (H.265), VP9, and AV1.
