There is a big news about Rishabh Pant, the captain of Delhi Capitals(DC) in the IPL 2024.

The BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) has suspended him for an upcoming match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). But that's not all! They've also slapped him with a heavy fine of Rs 30 lakh for maintaining a slow over-rate offense during the last match against Rajasthan royals(RR).  

And also the BCCI has imposed an additional fine of Rs 12 lakh or 50% of the match fees whichever is lower on the other players of Delhi Capitals including impact player.

DC has appealed against this decision to BCCI but they've lost their appeal against the suspension. That means Pant will definitely miss the must winning match against RCB. 

Now Delhi Capitals has to think about a new caption for this match as it will be a must win match for DC to keep live their hope for playoff. As per me David Warner can lead the team against Banglore.
