Skyesports Brings Back $200,000 Championship, 2024 International Esports Action

Skyesports is bringing back its longest-running esports event, the Skyesports Championship, for its sixth edition in 2024. This year's event features a Counter-Strike 2 tournament with a prize pool of $200,000. Top teams from around the world will  compete in India from July 23 to 28.


Shiva Nandy, CEO of Skyesports, shared his excitement about the event:

"We're using the fast growth of gaming to create globally recognized esports events in India. The Skyesports Championship 2024 will showcase top international teams in an on-ground event, broadcast globally from India. This will boost local esports and gaming audiences and attract international attention and investments."

Five of the eight teams have been confirmed so far:

  • Aurora Gaming (Serbia)
  • The Mongolz (Mongolia)
  • BetBoom (Russia)
  • Eternal Fire (Turkey)
  • Furia Esports (Brazil)
