Welcome to my space.Today, in this thread i am taking about 'Air curtains' which is used at the entrance of a Building/Hotels/Hall.So, without further ado, lets dive into this topic in detail😊.

Air curtains are a type of ventilation equipment that create an invisible curtain of air at doorways and other openings in a building. Using a stream of air, they effectively seal the interior of the building from the exterior without physical doors or other obstructions. Air curtains are often used to stop flying pests, dust, debris, and wind from entering a building. Air curtains create an air barrier between the exterior air and the conditioned interior air.

Working:

Air curtains create an invisible door that prevents the inflow of external air and restricts outflow of indoor air, protecting inside temperatures in the dining room, bar, or walk-in cooler. This results in less wear and tear of your heating or cooling system and saves you from incurring unnecessary heating bills.

Do They Really Work?

Yes, Air curtains or air doors or fly fans, properly selected, installed and operated really do work to create a barrier out of air across an opening.

Do 'Air Curtains' Work 100% ?

One of these is the fact that an air curtain can never completely seal off a passage, meaning some mixing of air cannot be prevented; 20% is common.

Air Curtain Size:

One important thing for any air curtain is choosing the correct size. The size of the air curtain should extend the entire length of the door, otherwise it will not offer full protection for the opening. Also, air curtain size affects things like weight for mounting and the size of the fan included in the air curtain. Therefore, there are several components of air curtain size that we must tailor to your building and ventilation system.

Is they are expensive to run?

Every usage of an air curation is different. If you install an unheated air curtain to create a bug barrier over a small door, it will cost very little to run. If your primary concern is contamination, insect or fly control, an unheated air curtain may work best for you.

Energy Efficiency:

Air curtains are proven to be more energy-saving than standard entrances, as less energy is required to maintain a comfortable indoor environment.
