AMD Unveils Ryzen AI 300 Series: Revolutionizing PC Experience

AMD just dropped a bomb on the tech world with its latest announcement at Computex 2024. It introduces the Ryzen AI 300 series powered by AMD's breakthrough XDNA 2 architecture. These processors come with a built-in NPU for Copilot+ PCs.

The Ryzen AI 300 series includes two powerful models. AMD AI 9 HX 370 and AI 9 365. Equipped with up to 12 high-performance "Zen 5" cores and 24 threads, along with the new AMD RDNA 3.5 graphics architecture with the latest AMD Radeon 800Mseries graphics. These processors redefine performance standards.

One of the key strengths of these processors is a 50% increasein on-chip L3 cache compared to their predecessors, making them ideal for thin and light notebooks.

When it comes to AI computing power, the Ryzen AI 300 series is unmatched, offering a staggering TOP 50 (trillions of operations per second). This represents a threefold increase in AI engine performance over the previous generation.

AMD has also conducted performance comparisons showcasing the superiority of the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 over competitors like the Snapdragon X Elite, Apple M3, and Intel Core Ultra 185H. According to AMD, the Ryzen AI 300 series delivers an average of 36% higher performance compared to the Intel Core Ultra 185H.


Excitingly, AMD has partnered with leading OEMs including Acer, ASUS, HP, Lenovo, and MSI to bring laptops powered by the Ryzen AI 300 Series to market. These laptops are slated for release starting July 2024 promising a new era of AI-enabled computing experiences.
