A wireless mouse keeps you free from cable clutter, but it needs battery power to function. Here's a quick guide on how to change the battery in your wireless mouse:

Things you'll need

Your wireless mouse

New batteries (AA or AAA, depending on your mouse)

Optional: Small flathead screwdriver (for some models)

Steps

1.Turn the mouse upside down- Look for the battery compartment on the bottom. It's usually secured by a latch or a screw.

2. Open the compartment

 If there's a latch, slide it or press it to release the cover.

 If there's a screw, use a small screwdriver to unscrew it carefully.  

3. Remove the old batteries.** You might be able to simply pull them out with your fingers. 

4. Insert the new batteries.** Make sure the positive (+) and negative (-) ends match the markings inside the compartment. It's usually indicated with a small plus and minus symbol.

5. Close the compartment.** Snap the latch back into place or screw it shut if it had a screw.

6. Turn the mouse over and test it.** Your mouse should work again!

Tips:

If you're unsure about the battery type or orientation, refer to your mouse's manual or search online for the specific model.

Don't throw away old batteries in the trash. Recycle them responsibly at designated collection points.
