Learn what to do if you want to keep private photos and videos on your phone private. No one can find those pictures even if they want to.
We have a lot of pictures and videos on our phones that we don't like to show to anyone. If you take the phone and open the gallery, all those pictures will come right in front of your eyes. Many people go to Google and search whether there is any other way to keep it secret other than deleting it. You'll be glad to know that Google has actually come up with a way to keep your private photos and videos hidden from prying eyes.
Google recently introduced new features to protect private photos. This is 'Google Photos'. A kind of 'locked folder' that no one but you can open. All your personal photos, which you want to keep hidden from others, can be safely kept in this folder. Passcode must be entered to open this folder. Folders cannot be opened without permission.
1) First install Google Photos app.
2) After that go to Library option and click on 'Locked Folder' option.
3) Now create the folder in Manage Locked Folder.
4) Enter your phone's lock screen pin or pattern. If you want, you can do this through fingerprint or face unlock.
Here you will be given two options: Do not back up and Turn on back up. If you want to back up the photos or videos to retrieve them in future on other devices, then choose Back up option.
The phone's screen lock and Google's lock folder will have the same pattern/pin. A separate PIN or password cannot be set.
