Hello everyone!

I'm here to share my 2-day experience in Prague, the capital of Czech Republic. (For a backend info: I live and study in Germany)

Day 0 (Day of Arrival): On the 13th of July, I took a bus from my city to Prague, the duration of which was about 5 hours. Upon reaching in the evening, my only plan for the day was to check-in and rest. However, God had other plans for me as I met a kind Italian who showed me around the city's nightlife.

Just when I was relieved after reaching my room at 2:30 am, I realized that my schedule for the next day was to start by 5:30 am. Having no other choice, I took a nap for 3 hours and geared up for the next day.

Day 1: The most hectic day of my journey had just begun. Started the day by visiting a flea market, which was quite far from the city center. This huge market, which opens only in the weekends, is always expected to attract many customers as there are many stalls that sell various products (new and second-hand) for reasonable prices.

Next, I went to the Powder Gate Tower to experience some beautiful views from the top. Needless to say, it was breath-taking.

Later, I visited a few museums, followed by some sightseeing on the way and reaching the John Lennon Wall, made to spread positive energy. You can clearly see how energetic I was 😅

I continued my walk towards the Petrin Tower, which was inspired by the famous Eiffel Tower of Paris.

How can one miss out on the mind-blowing structures in Prague - the Prague castle and St. Vitus Cathedral? They look absolutely stunning in photos, and even more stunning when you see them live.

I was lucky enough to bump into a horse carriage. I have only seen it in movies so far, which made my experience surreal.

I later went to a local restaurant to try out one of their traditional dishes, and then spent the night watching the finals of Euro Cup (football) between Spain and England.

Overall, my experience in Day 1 had already surpassed my expectations of the city, and I was looking forward to complete the rest of my itenirary in Day 2.

I hope you liked this part of my journey. Stay tuned for Part II !
