Updated to the July 2024 Google security patch to improve system security

Optimized system stability for a better user experience

Optimized the system's resources allocation mechanism for an even longer battery life.

Fixed the occasional issue where you can't tap home screen app icons to enter apps.

Review

It's a significant update, around 1.2 GB in size. I know it's a bit late, but after using it for three days, I'm ready to share my review.

The first thing I noticed after the update is that the display feels smoother. There are also some redesigned elements in the settings. VoNR and 5G+ have been added, and I tested the internet speed. It works well with Jio but not with Airtel. For calls, the 5G connection switches to 4G, which the brand mentioned would happen if 5G call service isn't available locally.

The battery backup is good, providing 6-7 hours of screen-on time (SOT) with WiFi usage and 5-6 hours with 5G. I didn't notice any changes in the camera, and it remains satisfactory. So far, these are the improvements I've noticed. Overall, it's a solid update.

I will update you if I notice any additional changes that I may have missed so far.
