First Impressions of the iQOO Z9 Lite
As a moderator perk, I had the exciting opportunity to get my hands on the iQOO Z9 Lite ahead of its official launch. Let's dive into what this budget-friendly smartphone brings to the table.
Design and Build
The iQOO Z9 Lite arrives in two stylish color options: Mocha Brown and Aqua Flow. I got the Mocha Brown variant, and I must say, it's a looker! The color shifts beautifully under different lighting conditions, giving the phone a premium feel that belies its price point. The device fits comfortably in hand and has garnered genuine compliments from friends and family, with many mistaking it for a much more expensive model.
Box Contents and Basics
iQOO includes a 15W charger in the box, a welcome addition in today's market.
The box have the phone, user manual, a clear phone case and a sim ejector tool. Additionally, the phone retains the classic 3.5mm headphone jack, catering to users who prefer wired audio.
Performance and Display
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, the iQOO Z9 Lite delivers a surprisingly smooth performance, scoring a respectable 414,564 on AnTuTu. The 5000mAh battery ensures the phone lasts through a full day of use without any issues. The 6.56-inch 90Hz display offers decent visuals with a peak brightness of 840 nits, making it readable even in bright outdoor conditions.
Camera and Features
The iQOO Z9 Lite sports a 50MP Sony AI primary camera accompanied by a depth sensor for enhanced portrait photography. While I'm eager to test its capabilities in various lighting conditions, the initial shots look promising. The phone also boasts an IP64 rating, making it resistant to dust and water splashes – a surprising feature at this price point.
Overall Impressions
The iQOO Z9 Lite has left a positive first impression. Its premium design, solid performance, and long-lasting battery life are truly commendable. The inclusion of a 15W charger and IP64 rating sweeten the deal. While the camera's full potential remains to be explored, the early signs are encouraging. With an anticipated launch price of around 10K, the iQOO Z9 Lite is shaping up to be a strong contender in the budget smartphone segment. I'm looking forward to putting it through its paces in an in-depth review.
