After the iQOO 12, the company appears to be working on a successor the iQOO 13. Like the predecessor, this is expected to debut in the latter part of the year. There are reports that a Pro variant might not accompany this time around. While we wait for more details, noted tipster DigitalChatStation has revealed some key details about the iQOO 13 design and key specifications.

iQOO 13 display, battery and chipset details tipped

• According to DCS, BOE will supply the flat OLED display for the iQOO 13 and this will have a 2K resolution.
• The translated post reads, “The design of the screen shape mould is apparently updated across the board.” This could mean the overall design and the shape of the screen mould has been comprehensively updated.

• It is curious to know whether there will be any change in the screen size compared to the predecessor, which has a 6.78-inch flat OLED screen. 
• The iQOO 13 is believed to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, which is expected anyway.
• The flagship is likely to feature a bigger battery capacity, “starting with the number 6,” as per DCS, suggesting it could be 6000mAh as reported earlier.
• However, DCS says the phone will not have support for wireless charging. It was previously reported the phone will have 100W rapid charging. 

Speaking about the camera, the camera layout design is apparently unchanged from the iQOO 12 and will have a 50MP triple camera setup, which may include a 3x periscope telephoto camera.

Earlier reports said the iQOO 13 will have a metal middle frame and glass back. The phone might come with an IP68 or IP69-rated dust and water resistance.
