If an unknown app or unknown link is somehow installed on the phone, it's a disaster! Hackers are looking for a way to insert malware viruses into the phones of customers. Maybe, you downloaded an app that is actually a malware virus. Because of your limited knowledge about the technology, you didn't realize that all your important information, bank documents got into the hands of hackers unknowingly. They enter the phone through various APK files, fake links and apps. While searching on the internet, we open some links, from which the virus can come to the phone. So what to do?

How to know if you have installed a dangerous app or not?

1) Maybe you have downloaded a new app, after that you are noticing that the phone is running out of charge frequently. Even after charging the phone fully, it ran out of charge within a few moments. This is a symptom of malware virus.

2) Phone will turn off occasionally. Phone applications will take a long time to open.

3) Internet data on the phone will continue to be consumed at double speed. Apart from that, note that the phone settings are changing automatically. Be careful then. Hackers change phone settings for data loss.

How to check whether the wrong app is installed or not ?

A scan on the Google Play Store will tell you whether you have installed a malware app or not. What to do?

1) Open Google Play Store.

2) Click on your profile icon on the top right side.

3) You will see many options showing. Click on 'Play Protect' there.

4) Scanning will start as soon as you click on that option.

5) If any virus is detected in the scanning, the information will be displayed on the phone screen. And if the phone is protected, then it will be written in green color that no harmful apps were found on your phone.

If you install a new app on your phone, always go to the Google Play Store and scan it. And if that app asks permission for something unnecessary like, your Aadhaar card information or bank documents or debit or credit card details - then understand that app is harmful.
