Today, lets start out thread with India's favourite automobile brand, TATA Motors.

Tata motors has launched its new EV car Curvv.ev, which is a Coupe-type SUV, today (7th Aug 2024) at an official launch event in Mumbai.

Tata Curvv EV launched in India:

1. Price starts at Rs. 17.49 lakh.
2. Two battery pack options: 40.5kWh and 55kWh.
3. Range up to 585km (MIDC).
4. Features include panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, etc.
5. Takes on MG ZS EV in the market.
6. 0 - 100 kmph in 8.6s.

The Tata Curvv seamlessly transitions from concept to reality. Maintaining its bold, futuristic appeal, the production model boasts a striking design featuring split headlamps, a sleek coupe-like silhouette, and a connected LED taillight.

Design and Build

The Tata Curvv is a head-turner with its bold, coupe-like silhouette and futuristic design elements. The production model faithfully replicates the concept's striking appearance. Engineered for performance, it boasts a low center of gravity, balanced weight distribution, and ample ground clearance.

Interiors

Inside, the Curvv offers a minimalist yet premium cabin. The spacious interior features a driver-focused layout with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster. Loaded with modern amenities, it includes ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof, and advanced connectivity options.

Performance and Range

Powered by a 123kW electric motor, the Curvv delivers impressive acceleration and a top speed of 160 km/h. Customers can choose between two battery pack options, 55 kWh and 45 kWh, offering a range of up to 585 km on a single charge. Fast charging capabilities ensure minimal downtime.

Safety and Technology

Safety is paramount with the Curvv, equipped with Level 2 ADAS, multiple airbags, and advanced driver assistance systems. Additional features like a 360-degree camera and electronic parking brake enhance convenience and security. Same as its other vehicles, Curvv would also get a 5 star crash test rating.

The Tata Curvv is more than just an electric SUV; it's a statement of style, technology, and sustainability.

Pricing

Medium Range - 45 kWh

Long Range - 55 kWh

Also TATA Motors collaborated with new partners for charging architecture.
