I had the incredible opportunity to attend the exclusive Premier Event of the iQOO Quest Film on 8th August, held at the prestigious PVR Director's Cut in Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The event, featuring Bhuvan Bam as the lead, was an invite-only affair with limited seats, and I was fortunate enough to be among the select few Questers invited by iQOO.
I arrived at the venue at 10 am and was immediately impressed by the transformation that the iQOO team had given to the PVR, infusing it with a distinct iQOO touch. The entrance was marked by a prominent board displaying "iQOO, The Quest," setting the tone for what was to come. A dedicated photo area allowed attendees to capture memories with the "iQOO, I Quest On and On" backdrop, while informative boards displayed insights related to the Quest Report.
At 11 am, the entry began, and the film screening was scheduled in 'The Gallery' Auditorium. Stepping into the theatre at 12 pm, I was amazed by the setup—recliners all around, and refreshments like pasta, popcorn, and cold drinks thoughtfully prepared for us. The excitement was palpable as everyone settled in, and the atmosphere electrified when the man of the hour, Bhuvan Bam, made his entrance. The theatre erupted in cheers and applause, setting the stage for what would be an unforgettable experience.
The event kicked off with Sudarshan Sir, who welcomed the attendees, including media persons, Questers, YouTubers, and others, and shared insights about the iQOO Quest Report. He then invited Mr. Nipun Marya, CEO of iQOO India, to launch the iQOO Quest Report and provide an overview of the research behind it. The presentation that followed, led by Mr. Sudarshan, offered a comprehensive dive into the findings of the Quest Report.
Following the presentation, the moment we had all been waiting for arrived—the premiere of the iQOO Quest Film. The film, introduced with a message from director Shoojit Sircar, was a 10-minute short that resonated deeply with me. It told a story that many from middle-class families could relate to, and Bhuvan Bam's portrayal, intertwined with his personal life story, added a golden touch. His narrative captured the essence of every middle-class youth's journey, making it a powerful and relatable experience.
After the premiere, a chat session ensued where Mr. Nipun Marya engaged Bhuvan Bam in a conversation about his life quests. Bhuvan shared his story with a perfect blend of sarcasm, comedy, and emotion, revealing the challenges he faced and the quests he undertook to become the star he is today. His down-to-earth nature, coupled with his typical Delhi boy charm, left a lasting impression on me.
The event concluded with a group photo with Bhuvan Bam, and his fans eagerly took selfies with him. Following Bhuvan's departure, we were treated to a sneak peek of the iQOO Z9s Pro, allowing the Questers to get hands-on experience with the upcoming device. The day ended with a quick group photo, and as we exited the theatre, the iQOO team handed us some fantastic iQOO goodies.
Overall, the Quest Film left a profound impact on me, highlighting iQOO's commitment to thinking, caring, and investing in the well-being of Indian youth. The meet-up with Bhuvan Bam was the cherry on top, making the event truly special. I thoroughly enjoyed the day, capturing countless memories with the team and fellow Questers. A heartfelt thank you to the iQOO team for inviting me and hosting such an amazing event!
