Charles O'Rear, the photographer who capturd the iconic landscape known as "Bliss", used as wallpaper in Windows XP. Microsoft bought this incredible image for 1 million dollars. O'Rear took the photograph in the vineyards of Napa Valley, in the area of San Francisco, California, USA, and did so without digital editing in 1996. This iconic wallpaper, which conveys serenty and optimism, is has become one of the most viewed images. in the history of computing and has inspired countless parodies and tributes in popular culture.
