Krafton India recently unveiled the full roadmap for the iQOO BMPS 2024 in a video posted on their official YouTube channel. This highly anticipated tournament will see the top BGMI teams from across India compete for a massive prize pool of 2 crore rupees.
Tournament Structure:
Round 1 (20th August - 5th September):
The competition kicks off with 128 invited teams, divided into Blue and Red sets, each containing four groups of 16 teams. Every group will play six matches. After the initial round, the teams will be reshuffled, and the process will be repeated with new groupings. The top 64 teams from the overall standings will advance to the next round.
Round 2 (7th - 10th September):
In this round, the 64 qualifying teams will be split into four groups of 16 teams each. Every group will compete in six matches, with the top 48 teams based on overall standings moving forward to Round 3.
Round 3 (11th - 14th September):
The remaining 48 teams will be divided into three groups of 16 teams each. During the first two days, every team will participate in four matches, followed by a reshuffling of groups for another round of four matches each. The top 24 teams from the overall standings will advance to the Semi-Finals.
Semi-Finals (15th - 18th September):
In the Semi-Finals, the 24 qualified teams will be divided into three groups of 8 teams each. These teams will compete in 24 matches using a double round-robin format, with each team playing four matches per day, totaling 16 matches per team. The top 16 teams from this round will earn their spot in the Grand Finals.
Grand Finals (27th - 29th September):
The final showdown will take place in Kochi, Kerala, where the top 16 teams will battle it out over three days. A total of 18 matches will be played, and the team that tops the overall standings will be crowned the Champion of the iQOO BMPS 2024.
This tournament promises to be a thrilling display of skill and strategy as India's best BGMI teams vie for glory and the coveted title.
