Mukesh Ambani's Private Boeing 737 MAX 9 Arrives in India..!

Here's an exciting news related to Asia's Richest Industrialist Mr. Mukesh Ambani. 


Mukesh Ambani Boeing 737 MAX 9 is priced at $118.5 Million (₹994 Crores approx) excluding the cost of interiors and cabin retrofit.

  A Private Jet, Boeing 737 MAX 9 (737-9) belonging to Reliance Industries owner and one of Asia’s richest men, Mukesh Ambani, and not any airlines landed in India. 


According to aviation sources, the aircraft was at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg (BSL), Switzerland Maintenace facility for cabin modifications and interior changes. The aircraft flew from Victorville Airport to BSL on April 13, 2023.

Mukesh Ambani’s Boeing 737 MAX 9 before coming to Delhi (DEL), India made many test flights. By looking at its history on FlightAware, the private jet made six test flights between Basel, Geneva, and London Luton.


The delivery flight took off from Basel (BSL) at 4:05 AM UTC on August 27. After being airborne for around nine hours and 40 minutes and covering a distance of 6,234 KM, the aircraft landed safely on Runway 1 i.e. 10/28 at Delhi (DEL) at 1:48 PM UTC (7:18 PM IST [evening]).

The aircraft is currently parked at a maintenance apron near to cargo terminal of Delhi Airport. It will soon fly to Mumbai and will get to know who maintains the aircraft.


According to Business and Commercial Aircraft data, Ambani’s 737 MAX 9 is priced at $118.5 Million excluding the cost of interiors and cabin retrofit.


Further, these aircraft are categorized as Ultra-long-range business jets.


737 MAX has a range of 6,355 nmi (11,770 km) carries an increased payload and has a larger cabin and cargo section compared to MAX 8.

With this, the Boeing 737 MAX 9 BBJ joins the fleet of existing aircraft including Bombardier Global aircraft, Embraer ERJ-135, Dassault Falcon, and Airbus A319. 


They also have a fleet of two helicopters, including Dauphin and Sirkorsky. The company has its own hangar and contract maintenance to regional MROs. Similarly, the brand-new Boeing 737 MAX is most likely to be maintained by the country’s leading MROs.


The aircraft is built in the Renton production line and has the MSN number 8401. Further, it is powered by two CFMI LEAP-1B engines.
