Revving Up a New Era of Karting in India!

Karting fans, brace yourselves for a game-changer! India has just entered the big leagues with the opening of its first CIK-approved karting track, thanks to none other than Formula 1 legend Mika Hakkinen. Located at the Madras International Circuit near Chennai, this world-class track is set to redefine motorsport in the country, offering both adrenaline-packed racing experiences and top-notch facilities for aspiring drivers.

Two-time Formula 1 World Champion Mika Hakkinen has officially opened India's first Commission Internationale de Karting (CIK) approved professional karting track!

This track, known as the Madras International Karting Arena (MIKA), is located at the Madras International Circuit near Chennai.

With inputs from former F1 drivers Karun Chandhok and Narain Karthikeyan, this 1.2 km track was designed by UK-based Driven International to offer exciting and competitive racing experiences.

It includes cutting-edge features like floodlights, a control room, and electric go-kart charging stations. For karting enthusiasts, there's a wide selection of karts, from ICE to electric models, and kid-friendly options. Plus, 2-seaters will soon be available for more fun!

MIKA is now open to the public for both leisure karting and competitive racing. Get ready to experience the thrill!

The rapid development of motorsports in Tamil Nadu is remarkable, further solidifying its reputation as the racing capital of India, both in terms of tracks and talent.
