Krafton has signed an agreement to bring Palworld to Android and iPhones. However, this will be possible if a Nintendo lawsuit against the PC game maker Pocketpair doesn’t end the game first. In a press release, Krafton announced that it has signed a licensing agreement with Japanese game developer Pocketpair for the intellectual property (IP) of ‘Palworld.’ Under this contract, the BGMI maker will expand the Palworld IP to the mobile platform. The project will be handled by the development team of ‘PUBG STUDIOS,’ which is a subsidiary of Krafton. However, the studio didn’t confirm the release date of the mobile version of Palworld.
In the release, Krafton also noted that it “plans to faithfully reinterpret and implement the original’s main fun elements to fit the mobile environment.” This suggests that the mobile version of the game will not be quite the same, but will be true to the main elements of the original game.
Krafton further explained: "Palworld is a monster breeding open world survival craft game that was released as early access on the global game distribution platform Steam and Microsoft's (MS) video game platform Xbox on January 19th. It was released globally on Sony Interactive Entertainment's (SIE) PlayStation 5 (PS5) on September 25th. You can collect over 100 unique creatures called "Pals" and use them for combat, construction, farming, or factory work. It was a huge success, selling 15 million copies on Steam in just one month, reaching 10 million users on Xbox, and recording the 3rd highest number of Steam concurrent users of all time (approximately 2.1 million)."
