The iQOO 13 is anticipated to launch in the coming weeks. Although iQOO has not confirmed an exact date, a tipster on Weibo has shared potential specifications for the successor to the iQOO 12. According to the leak, the iQOO 13 is expected to feature an IP68-rated design for dust and water resistance, along with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for secure authentication.
According to Chinese tipster Experience More on Weibo, the iQOO 13 will feature 100W PPS (Programmable Power Supply) fast charging and PD (Power Delivery) support, similar to the Vivo X100 series. This marks a downgrade from the iQOO 12, which supported 120W charging. Earlier reports had suggested that the iQOO 13 would launch with the same charging speed as its predecessor.
The iQOO 13 is rumored to come with a USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable and is expected to include a charger in the box. It is also tipped to feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and a hole-punch display. The display is said to be an upgrade, boasting a "better panel than the BOE X2 Oriental screen."
Additionally, the iQOO 13 is rumored to feature an upgraded USB 3.0 port. It is expected to have an IP68-rated design and could be less than 8.1 mm thick.
The iQOO 13 is rumored to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It may be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, offering up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The device is likely to sport a triple rear camera system, including a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 50-megapixel 2x telephoto lens. For selfies, it could come equipped with a 32-megapixel front camera.
The upcoming iQOO 13 might introduce a new heat dissipation architecture, utilizing a single-layer motherboard for improved thermal management. It could also feature the company's self-developed Q2 chip, optimized for gaming. The device is rumored to pack a 6,150mAh battery.
