World soccer legend Lionel Messi continues to expand his empire off the pitch with the launch of his own fragrance line, āMessi Fragrancesā.
At the age of 37, after a spell on the pitches of FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, then moving to the United States to play forInter Miami, the 2022 World Cup winner with Argentina is exploring a new sector: perfumery.
Messi had already diversified his activities by launching energy drinks, available since June 2024 under the Mas + brand, with flavors such as āMiami Punchā and āBerry Colaā. Now heās venturing into the world of fragrances, with a project heās been working on for several months.
The āMessi Fragrancesā range was unveiled by the Argentine himself on his Instagram account. The slogan, āMessi. More than we seeā, highlights his versatility as a footballer, father and āgentlemanā. The campaign is briefly reminiscent of Chanelās Bleu mixed with Rabanneās Invictus. The fragrance, priced at ā¬68.95, or ā¬84.95 with box, reflects the playerās desire for elegance and personality.
This launch puts Lionel Messi in direct competition with Cristiano Ronaldo, who also owns a range of perfumes and a clothing brand. While their duels on the pitch are behind them, the face-off now continues in the business world.
