Today, iQOO officially announced a major technological leap with the launch of the Vivo-Qualcomm Joint Lab. This strategic partnership was revealed by Vivo's Senior Vice President and CTO Shi Yujian, along with Qualcomm China's Chairman Meng Pu. The collaboration between these industry giants promises significant advancements in mobile chip technology, which will soon be reflected in the iQOO 13.
At the core of this partnership is the integration of Vivo's proprietary Blue Crystal chip technology stack with Qualcomm's Snapdragon platform, marking the first-ever collaboration of its kind. Together, they are developing the Blue Crystal X Snapdragon chip, a custom solution that will push the boundaries of smartphone performance. Golan V, iQOO's product manager, emphasized that this partnership has been built on years of close collaboration and joint tuning between iQOO and Qualcomm, aiming to deliver an unparalleled user experience.
The Blue Crystal X Snapdragon will be co-developed, co-tuned, and co-defined alongside Qualcomm's latest flagship Snapdragon chip, making it the first innovation from the Vivo-Qualcomm Joint Lab. This enhanced chipset is expected to offer improved performance, energy efficiency, and advanced capabilities.
The iQOO 13 will also introduce innovations beyond the chipset. Partnering with BOE, iQOO is equipping the phone with Q10 light-emitting material and OLED circular polarized light eye protection, the first of their kind in an Android device. These features will provide hardware-level eye protection, reducing eye strain and making the display safer for extended use.
The iQOO 13 is shaping up to be a powerhouse device, blending cutting-edge performance with groundbreaking display technology, setting a new standard for premium smartphones.
