hope you're all doing great! The wait is finally over, and the much-anticipated thread is here. I know many of you are eager to know what went down in Chennai with our fellow Questers. Was it a Photowalk? A Questers meetup? A feedback session? Maybe even a dance party? Or perhaps a treat for our Questers? Could it have been a contest?

Haha, all your questions will be answered now!

Let me start by explaining the concept behind this event, so you all can get a clear picture. This wasn't just a typical Photowalk. It was Explore with iQOO Connect Community! As a Ranger from our community, I wanted our Chennai Questers to experience something truly unique something they've likely never heard of before. This event was all about uncovering one of Chennai's hidden gems.

Dakshina Chitra Heritage Museum

is a remarkable cultural treasure located along the East Coast Road, right beside the serene Bay of Bengal. Though it’s quite a distance from the hustle and bustle of the city, I wanted our Questers to enjoy a peaceful escape and fully immerse themselves in this unique experience. The museum is a living showcase of Indian architecture and culture, with actual traditional houses from various regions of India. These aren’t movie sets—each house was dismantled in its original location and reassembled here. Just imagine spending a day exploring and walking through a place that lets you experience the richness of India's heritage in a single setting!

iQOO Respects Indian Traditions and Heritage

The main idea behind choosing this venue was to show that, while iQOO is a global brand, we deeply value and respect Indian traditions. We wanted to highlight the love and admiration we have for India's rich cultural heritage. Being a global brand doesn't mean we overlook our roots—on the contrary, we embrace and honor every aspect of it. This is at the heart of why we selected this location for the event.

Here’s what we explored at the DakshinaChitra Heritage Museum!

First of all, I’d like to congratulate the 14 lucky Questers who joined me for this experience. A huge thank you to all the Questers for being so cooperative and supportive from start to finish.

We all gathered at 10 AM sharp, and I distributed welcome goodies from iQOO Connect to everyone. We kicked off with a fun social media task—an "Add Yours" Instagram challenge, where Questers shared a template saying, "I was here at the Explore with iQOO Connect Community.

Special Invitees

We had the pleasure of hosting Siva Bharani, a well-known tech YouTuber from FoneArena Tamil, as a special guest. Given his expertise in smartphone photography, he was the perfect addition to our event.

We were also honored to have Mandeep Sharma, our Product Manager representing iQOO India. He was warmly welcomed with a cool gift from the iQOO Connect community.

Introduction and Agenda for the Day

I kicked things off with a brief introduction of myself as a Ranger and welcomed our Questers along with our special attendees, including our Product Manager. I then outlined the plan for the day and shared some exciting news about the Qool contests we had lined up.

The first was a quiz at the end of the event based on everything I shared with them throughout the day. Secondly, we introduced the "Best Explorer" and "Here’s What I Explored" contests, where the best threads and photography from the event would be rewarded with iQOO Wireless Sports earphones. I'm proud to say this contest was entirely my idea!

As soon as we entered the museum, the rhythmic sound of traditional drums drew us toward the stage. It was an exciting moment as some of our Questers joined in and danced along, creating the perfect energetic kick-off for our event!

We then set off to explore the stunning architecture representing various Indian cultures and traditions. Along the way, we enjoyed engaging activities like pottery, face painting, and live portrait sessions. It was clear that everyone was fully immersed in the experience, as the place was not only unique but also incredibly refreshing for the mind.

After a long exploration, we still hadn’t covered everything, but with time running short and lunch calling, we gathered once again at the main stage. There, our special guest, Siva Bharani, shared some valuable tech tips and insights into iQOO’s growth from its early days to now. He also expressed his surprise and admiration for the impressive camera quality of the iQOO 12.

He also discussed his early days as a tech reviewer on YouTube, sharing how he managed challenges in that space. He offered valuable advice for aspiring tech YouTubers on navigating their journeys. This was a great opportunity for both the brand and our Questers to gain insights from his experiences.

Following that, our Product Manager distributed the iQOO 12 with Android 15 and the iQOO Z9s Pro, allowing everyone to enjoy a hands-on experience for a few minutes. Afterward, our Questers provided valuable feedback and suggestions to our brand based on their experience with the devices.

After that, I organized a quiz featuring five questions. One participant answered more questions correctly than the others and was awarded a pair of iQOO gaming sleeves.

Travel to the Restaurant

We arrived at Burger King, where the menu was open to everyone with a set price limit for choosing their meals. The food was fantastic and hygienic, making for a great dining experience. We spent about an hour there and even took a group photo to capture the moment!

Feedback Collection

Once the event wrapped up, I shared a feedback form with everyone to gather their thoughts on their overall experience with the iQOO Connect Community. I was pleased to see that everyone took the time to respond!

Conclusion

Explore with iQOO Connect in Namma Chennai" was an incredible event, earning a solid 10 out of 10! Everyone had a fantastic time, and I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the 15 lucky Questers we selected from various parts of the city, ensuring a diverse network of participants.
