Black Ops 6 Reveals Prestige 1 Rewards

Ahead of the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on October 25, new details regarding the game's Prestige system have been revealed. The Prestige system in Black Ops 6 will include several new rewards and features, but will still operate in a way that will feel familiar to longtime Call of Duty fans, with Prestige level 1 offering several new goodies.

Black Ops 6 seems poised to dominate the video game industry toward the end of 2024. Marking the first Call of Duty title headed by longtime developer Treyarch since 2020's Cold War, Black Ops 6 promises to take players right back into the action, featuring a robust new multiplayer mode, a new campaign storyline, and the next evolution of Call of Duty Zombies. Players already got a feel for Black Ops 6 during the game's beta earlier this year, with the title making a solid impression among those able to try it out. Aside from the return of traditional round-based Zombies, Black Ops 6 also marks the return of several other fan-favorite features, with Treyarch sharing details about how the game's Prestige system will work.

According to the developers, Black Ops 6 will mark the return of a more traditional Prestige system, with all earnable levels being made available at launch. This means players can reach max Prestige at launch without waiting for seasonal content updates. The path to Prestige is still the same, requiring players to reach the max level of 55 before being able to enter.

Treyarch has promised Black Ops 6 will be the "most rewarding Call of Duty" to date, with other features, like theater mode, also returning. As stated earlier, Black Ops 6 will also feature a new campaign mode and the next installment of Call of Duty Zombies. At launch, Black Ops 6 will feature two new round-based Zombies maps, Terminus and Liberty Falls, with each offering unique environments for players to explore. Black Ops 6 officially releases on October 25, 2024.
