has revealed the details of its upcoming in-game Halloween event, which is inspired by Destiny 2. Although For Honor was first released back in 2017, Ubisoft Montreal's action-packed title continues to receive new content updates.
In the time since For Honor's release, the game has crossed over with various different franchises, notably Assassin's Creed and Dead by Daylight. It has been interesting to see what's around the corner next, with Ubisoft continuing to update the game with fresh content pretty regularly for a game of its age. Earlier this year, Ubisoft even released a For Honor co-op mode for free, offering a unique PvE experience for both long-time and new players.
The event, titled Light of the Guardians, runs from October 24 to November 14, featuring Guardian skins.
For Honor is 85% off on Steam until October 28, attracting new players with its active community and unique events.

For Honor posted the trailer of its upcoming Destiny 2 crossover, and it looks awesome. It teases an invasion of the Destiny Scorn in the world of For Honor, which serves as the premise of the entire thing. Lore-wise, it doesn't make a ton of sense for either franchise, but it's so cool that it's pretty easy to forgive it. The trailer also gives a glimpse at several Guardian skins, which players will seemingly be able to use in For Honor. The event itself is titled Light of the Guardians, and will run between October 24 and November 14, so there's more than enough time for any interested gamers to get involved in the For Honor fun.
It's worth noting that until October 28, For Honor is 85% off on Steam, bringing the game down to just $4.49. While this doesn't represent an all-time low price for Ubisoft's PvP sword combat game, it's cheap enough to recommend trying while the Destiny 2 crossover event is on. It still has a pretty active community on Steam, with a 24-hour peak (at the time of writing) of 4,569, and crossplay also available. Gamers certainly shouldn't struggle to find a game, and it's only going to get busier as the Destiny 2 Halloween event begins.
It's always somewhat surprising when a developer chooses to continually update its live service game over such an extended period, especially when the aforementioned title is a big success. It would have been easy for Ubisoft to release a sequel (or even two) to For Honor, but instead, it continues to make the original game the best it can be. To this day, it's still among the best medieval PvP games on the market, and hopefully, the studio is committed to it for a long time to come.
