When I was looking for a allrounder mobile under 40k, we found the Next-Gen Dual Chip Flagship, iQOO Neo 9 Pro.

We bought this mobile for my brother-in-law on the launch day. And yes, we did pre booking for the mobile and we received iQOO Gaming Cooling Fan and one year extended warranty!

Recently I got a chance to use my brother-in-law's iQOO Neo 9 Pro for some days and wanted to share my review. Lets go for review in different sections.

Design

First Dual-Tone Vegan Leather design back phone from iQOO. It's a very attractive, eye catching and polarising color combination, Red and White. Whereas other phones in the competition just get boring single colors. 

The in-hand feel was very amazing and feels very light weight where even though the mobile is fully power-packed! 

The camera design was inspired from iQOO 12, which was a square design camera cutout Squircle, Neo 9 Pro got two of them, which looks very nice. Also the phone is very slim. It gets four sided curve back which was very comfortable to hold in hand and doesn't feel pain while using for longer hours. The back is also textured which looks great. 

Also it comes with an IR blaster, which is very useful thing.

Display

3000 nits HDR10+ 144hz AMOLED display in a phone under 40k! Even with less than 75% brightness, I can easily use the phone under bright sunlight. Man the display is so bright that I needed to use low brightness mode at nights. The bezels are very slim which feels the phone has infinite display. 

I even watched some movies on Netflix and Amazon Prime video and the HDR was working like a charm. No complaints from the display. 

Camera

The camera works like a charm! 50MP main sensor didn't disappoint me in both day light and night time. Amazing camera with great output.

Also the wideangle camera works very well.

Video output is really great.

There are some special modes like supermoon which captures moon at nights very clearly. 

The selfie camera is also working like a charm.

Battery

Easily can use the phone for a day. Just needed to charge once per day, 120W charger gives 50% if charge just in 15mins which I can use it for at least a half day! Also while charging, the phone doesn't heat much. Neo 9 Pro even has battery health feature where you can check battery health.

Software

The UI is very much optimised to provide smooth feel for the 144hz display.

This beast is going to receive 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of Security updates. So you don't need to worry till 2028. 

Also there are many new AOD styles and wallpapers provided out of the box.

Gaming

Amazing gaming experience and can handle any game at any moment! Name any game, whether it is BGMI, COD etc., can handle any heavy game like butter. Doesnt heat much while gaming and charging doesn't fall heavily and can play games continuously for at least 5 hours.

The Supercomputing Chip Q1, which is also known as iQOO Gaming Engine, provides Better-than-Native Graphics, Next-level performance, low-latency super frame rate, game super-resolution, high frame rate, and high-quality graphics. Graphics quality reaches new heights with lower power consumption. 

Also there are some special gaming features like

The dual flagship chip, coupled with iQOO's own super resolution, delivers a graphics quality which is superior to the native and industry-leading, perfect for gameplay.

• 144 Hz Game Super Frame Rate

Conclusion 

If you are looking for a smartphone under ₹40,000, use can blindly go for iQOO Neo 9 Pro. Its an flagship at budget price having all the flagship features.

As iQOO provides the best after sales support, I recommend to go for Neo 9 Pro rather than competitors. 

In my few days experience, I was amazed after using this phone and looking forward to own one.

Few people are facing some issues while using their phone, but iQOO is solving their problems very quickly with their time to time updates.

Even the update policy is very good where other brands doesn't even provide security updates for 3 years.
