Sony’s PlayStation series has a special place amongst console gamers across the world, and the popular console series will complete its 30th anniversary in December. To celebrate this milestone, Sony announced a limited edition PlayStation 5 and accessories in grey colour, identical to the original PlayStation, launched back in 1994.

These products are now available in India, which includes the PlayStation 5 slim digital console and Dual Sense wireless controller combo for Rs 49,999, just the Dual Sense wireless controller for Rs 6,849, Dual Sense Edge wireless controller for Rs 20,999, and PlayStation Portal remote player for Rs 20,799. All four devices will be available for purchase starting November 21 via various online and offline stores such as Game Shop.

The regular PS5 Slim is Rs 5,000 cheaper than the 30th-anniversary edition, and the same also goes for the Dual Sense controllers and the Portal, where the limited edition models are slightly on the expensive side. Users can now pre-order these products to ensure their availability at launch.

As part of the celebration, Sony is also adding games like The Last of Us Part I into the PlayStation Plus subscription, where gamers can collect free PSN avatars and PlayStation Stars members can collect a fearsome Clicker Digital Collectible.

For those who already have a PS5, the PS5 30th-anniversary limited edition doesn’t add much. However, for anyone considering buying a PS5, this is a stellar deal that represents both the past and present of PlayStation.

Sony also recently unveiled PS5 Pro, the most powerful gaming console in the world with enhanced gaming performance, which is also the most expensive gaming console from Sony.
