Its design is a masterful homage to the iconic motorcycles of the 1960s and 70s, reimagined for the 21st century.

The round LED headlamp, a hallmark of classic bike design, sits proudly at the front, flanked by sleek indicators that maintain the retro theme without compromising on modern lighting technology.

Moving along the bike, the teardrop-shaped fuel tank is a work of art in itself. Its sculpted lines and knee recesses not only look stunning but also provide riders with a tactile connection to their machine.

The tank’s design is complemented by a single-piece seat that echoes the styling of cafe racers, complete with a subtle hump at the rear that adds a sporty touch to the overall silhouette.

The attention to detail in the XSR 155’s design is truly remarkable. From the brushed aluminum side panels to the meticulously crafted exhaust heat shield, every element has been carefully considered to contribute to the bike’s retro-modern aesthetic.

At the heart of this beauty lies a 155cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that’s shared with its sportier sibling, the Yamaha R15.

This powerplant delivers a punchy 19.3 horsepower and 14.7 Nm of torque, numbers that translate to exhilarating performance on the road.

Underpinning the XSR 155’s retro bodywork is a thoroughly modern chassis.

The Deltabox frame, a Yamaha hallmark, provides excellent rigidity and precise handling characteristics.

This is complemented by upside-down front forks and a link-type monoschock at the rear, a suspension setup that’s more commonly found on larger, more expensive motorcycles.

The result of this chassis and suspension combination is a bike that handles with aplomb.

Yamaha has also equipped the XSR 155 with its Y-Connect technology.

This Bluetooth-enabled system allows riders to connect their smartphones to the bike, providing access to features like call and message notifications, maintenance reminders, and even tracking of riding data.

It’s a feature that adds a layer of practicality to the XSR 155’s retro charm, making it a truly modern classic.

That's all for this thread
