Guru Nanak Jayanti, also known as Gurpurab, celebrates the birth of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism and the first of the ten Sikh Gurus.
Observed on the full moon day of Kartik month, it is a day of devotion, prayer, and reflection on his teachings of equality, humility, and service.
Sikhs commemorate this day with Akhand Path (continuous reading of the Guru Granth Sahib), Nagar Kirtans (processions), and langar (community meals), embodying Guru Nanak's message of selfless service and unity.
Let's honor by spreading love, practicing kindness, and working towards unity and peace.
