Its that time of the year again with Snapdragon unveiling their top tier chipset that will power all devices through 2025, with that iQOO has take wraps of their latest flapship device iQOO 13 - Be the G.O.A.T.

This time iQOO connect was held at Courtyard by Mariott-NAGAVARA/HEBBALA, quite close to my house as i reside near hebbala🤣.

As usual i reached right before the briefing began ,so i sat  at the right front ,something both i never did during my bachelor's mechanical 💀🤣,( that is reaching on time or sitting at the front).

The briefing started so lets start discussing about upcoming year's flagship.

DISPLAY:- 6.82 in BOE Q10 AMOLED ,1800 nits in HBM mode , HDR10+

     so this display the more advanced and latest innovation in amoled display and most colour accurate ,along with that 144Hz on 2K resolution and game frame rate interpolation . the display has a lot of eyecare features along with hardware level to reduce eyes strains and is certified by TUV standards.

BATTERY:-6000 mAH , second gen sillicon anode

so the only difference between the chinese variant and india variant is the battery capacity difference ,since getting certification for a bigger battery would be time consuming , the indian variant gets the already certified 6000 mAH capacity .

the silicon anode battery ensures a longer battery health life and also this time iQOO has implemented a by pass technology ,where if the phone is plugged in during gaming sessions, the battery doesnt get charged inside the power coming directly from the wall adapter is redirected to the processors and display and whereall the power is required. 120W fastcharger is bundled in the box.

NEW FEATURE:- halo light /halo ring

this time the port hole design from iQOO 12 is carried over ,however around the camera module ,new RGB LED ring has been added as you can see above , this halo light can notify you missed calls notifcations or charging status indication when the phone is flipped . also it you can do almost near-endless combination of lighting designs and lighting colours . quite handy if you ask me .

selfie camera is also upgraded this time its 32 MP, f/2.5, 28mm (wide), 1/3.15", 0.7µm. apart from this primary rear camera can shoot 8K 30fps and selfie cam can shoot 4k 30 fps , the primary sensor is sony IMX 921 ,co tuned by vivo colour studio.

RAM/ROM:- iQOO has used a higher clockspeed DDR5 ram

its manufactured by SK HYNIX and its dubbed as LPDDR5T but iQOO terms its LPDDR5 ultra , this is made to ensure that the newly SOC can take advance and can max out its performance , to the full extent of the SOC's capacity and not to bottle neck any performance .

COMMUNICATIONS:-

this device has revised anntennas that are spread out across the device in a way that however in any orientation or however you hold it , the signals do not drop and along with that faster and improved NFC.

AI

this year all the hype is about Ai , and all OEM's slapping their devices with Ai.

iQOO 13 also gets a plethora of Ai features those include , Ai photo erase , Ai photo enhancer , Ai super document scanner , and live cutout . and along with that google gemini and all assistant features like circle to search and ETC.

OS

iQOO 13 comes out of the box with Fun Touch 15 and functouch 15 has a lot of elements redesigned and many new elements added .

iQOO 13 is bound to get 4 major OS updates and 5 years security patches.

Miscellaneous

other features such as S-capture which now gets the option to sketch and draw , and link to windows get improved with cast screen to device.

during the briefing and before the start of the event iQOO service camp was present ,where iQOO users could get their devices cleaned , get screen guards and back cases installed at no cost

after the briefing was done , hearty lunch was served there was variey of options to choose from paneer to chicken and then fish , also  with that icecream fudge.

Along with briefing , there was hand on experience and demonstration of how resilient iQOO 13 was in terms of IP ratings so there was a demonstration and a hands on booth .

After lunch , there were BGMI sessions .

The event concluded on a high note by gifting people who won in BGMI matches and those who did social media posting about the event
