What is Ultimate Royale ?

This mode will be time-limited and it will only be available during a specific time in each region. The details will be mentioned in the game. You can play this mode only on one maps i.e. Erangel.Unlike classic matches, Ultimate Royale will consist of only 64 players and 16 teams. This will give it a proper esports experience.

There will total of five tiers. Those are Vanguard, Exceed, Supreme, Peerless, and Legend. The rewards of this mode are also very attractive. You must be at Crown Tier in the current or previous season to play this mode.

Best Tips to conquer Ultimate Royale

1. Playing with your friends can help in the final stages

First of all, always try to play this mode with a preset squad. Many players will try to play this mode with automatching and there is nothing wrong with it. But when you play with a proper team, it will always give you the upper hand over the opponent. You will get proper cover-fire, support, and other help from your squad mates. In the case of auto-matching, the same cannot be guaranteed.

2. Set a proper location to loot before engaging

Since this mode is introduced to provide esports-like gameplay to us, we will have to treat it in the same way. Just like esports scrims and tournaments, fix a proper drop location where you and your teammates will land. Don’t just jump from the plane and land randomly anywhere.

3. Utilities and throwables plays a crucial role

Before starting a match in Ultimate Royale, always discuss the looting with your teammates. Don’t just randomly loot and pick up anything from the map. Carry sufficient ammunition, utilities, and health items to take fights freely and perform heal battles if required. Also, do not forget to carry enough smoke grenades and frag grenades. These throwables play a crucial role in the later stages of the game where the encounters among the players peaks.

4. Fix roles in the team for a smooth execution

Just like any existing esports lineup, you will need players with proper roles in the team. Try to select a player and make them the in-game leader (IGL) of the team. Always listen to the calls from the IGL in the match.

Apart from IGL, a good lineup requires other roles such as Entry fragger, assaulter, scout, filter, support player, and free-man. Discuss with your teammates and play accordingly to get success in this mode. Always remember that this new Ultimate Royale mode is different from normal classic matches, so you will have to make and adapt to these changes to thrive in this mode.

5. Making rotations in vehicles is a necessity

When you make a rotation in this mode, always try to do it using a vehicle. In esports scrims or tournaments, it is a norm for the players to carry a personal vehicle for themselves.
