Yaariyan is a heartwarming film that celebrates friendship, love, and the power of determination. Directed by Divya Khosla Kumar, the story follows five college friends—Lakshya, Jiya, Saloni, Pardy, and Neil—who study at a college in the picturesque Sikkim. Their world is turned upside down when they learn that a property development company plans to demolish their college. In a bid to save their campus, the friends decide to take part in a high-stakes competition that could change their lives forever.

Himansh Kohli plays the role of Lakshya, the passionate leader of the group, while Rakul Preet Singh portrays Saloni, the romantic lead. Her character brings a beautiful depth to the film, particularly in her relationship with Lakshya. The portrayal of their love is tender and supportive, offering a grounding emotional layer to the plot.

Jiya, played by Nicole Faria, brings a refreshing energy to the screen, while Shreyas Pardiwalla as Pardy and Dev Sharma as Neil round out the ensemble, each adding their unique flair to the story. The camaraderie between the five friends is the heart of the movie, showcasing how they support one another in their quest to protect their campus and pursue their dreams.

The movie also explores themes of love and personal growth. The bond between Lakshya and Saloni is beautifully developed, with their journey of supporting each other adding emotional depth.

While Yaariyan occasionally falls into predictable storytelling, its charm lies in its relatable characters, beautiful music, and the powerful themes of friendship and love. The stunning visuals of Sikkim add a refreshing backdrop to the narrative, making it an enjoyable watch for those seeking a film that celebrates dreams, love, and togetherness.
