Vodafone Idea (Vi) has officially started its 5G services in India. The rollout is currently available in 17 cities, including major locations like Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, New Delhi, and Kolkata. This marks Vi's entry into the competitive 5G space after months of anticipation.
Vi has deployed its 5G services on 3.3GHz and 26GHz spectrums. However, the rollout is described as “small-scale,” with the network accessible in specific areas of these cities.

6. Ahmedabad - Near Divya Bhaskar, Corporate Road, Makarba, Prahladnagar

8. Indore - Electronic Complex, Pardeshipura
9. Jaipur - Near Galaxy Cinema, Mansarovar Industrial Area, RIICO

Notably, in Bihar, Vi has not yet deployed its 26GHz spectrum but has done so in other regions.
To use Vi's 5G services:
Prepaid users need to recharge with the Rs. 475 plan.
Postpaid users must choose the REDX 1101 plan to access 5G connectivity.
The company has yet to make an official announcement for its 5G launch. Users in these areas, however, have started sharing screenshots confirming 5G connectivity.
This rollout is a significant step for Vodafone Idea, enabling users to experience high-speed 5G services across various cities in India.
