Problem:
I purchased an Iqoo 13 (16GB/512GB) smartphone specifically for its powerful chipset and the inclusion of Android 15. Android 15 features a desktop mode that promises enhanced windowing capabilities, allowing me to use my phone as a secondary computing device when connected to an external monitor, Bluetooth keyboard, and mouse. However, when I connect my phone to the external monitor, it only mirrors the phone's display instead of entering the expected desktop mode.
Attempted Solution:
I have already enabled "Force desktop mode" in the Developer Options, which should activate desktop mode when the phone is connected to an external display. I also enabled "Enable freeform windows" and "Force activities to be resizable" in the Developer Options to further enhance the desktop-like experience.
Desired Outcome:
I want to successfully enable desktop mode on my Iqoo 13 phone so that I can use it as a functional secondary computing device with the external monitor, keyboard, and mouse setup.
