KRAFTON India has unveiled its esports roadmap for the first half of 2025, featuring major tournaments and initiatives aimed at fostering talent and expanding the esports ecosystem in the country🔥.

1. BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA SERIES (BGIS) 2025

Registrations Open: January 3, 2025

Prize Pool: ₹2 Crore

LAN Finals: Scheduled for April 2025 in Kolkata, marking a return to the city for a major esports event. 

2. BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA PRO SERIES (BMPS) 2025

Format: Invite-only tournament featuring the nation's top professional teams.

Prize Pool: ₹2 Crore

3. Rising Star Program

Objective: A dedicated initiative to nurture upcoming esports players and content creators.

Offerings: Focused mentorship to enhance live streaming skills, develop social media content strategies, and strengthen personal branding.

4. Esports College Campus Tour

Expansion: Set to reach more colleges nationwide in 2025.

Total Prize Pool: Over ₹2 Crore, with each host college receiving over ₹2 Lakh.

Past Engagements: The tour has previously engaged students at institutions like IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, and K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering. 

Karan Pathak, Associate Director of Esports at KRAFTON India, expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming year, stating that the 2025 roadmap aims to foster the growth of esports in India by empowering and nurturing the next generation of players and creators. 

Registrations for tournaments and participation in upcoming KRAFTON esports events will be available through the revamped KRAFTON India Esports website starting January 3, 2025.
