Hi guys Abhinav aka HYBRID this side,
iQOO’s latest flagship, the iQOO 13, is making waves with its powerful hardware, super-fast
charging, and robust software update policy. Priced around ₹53,000 (with bank offers), it
aims to compete with other high-performance devices in its segment. After testing the phone
extensively, here’s our comprehensive review.
While iQOO has not drastically changed the overall design philosophy, the iQOO 13 offers a
premium finish with a sturdy frame. It feels comfortable in hand despite its large display.
Notable design highlights include:
● Glass-Front & Possibly Glass/Matte Back: Depending on the color variant, the rear
can be glass or matte-finished. Both look premium, though glass can be slightly more
prone to fingerprints.
● Ergonomics: Despite housing a 6000mAh battery, the weight distribution is
balanced, making it easier to hold for longer periods.
● Ports & Buttons: The device features a USB-C port for charging, a bottom-firing
speaker (in addition to the earpiece for stereo audio), and well-placed power and
volume buttons on the right side.
Overall, the iQOO 13 meets flagship standards in build quality and aesthetics, though it
keeps a conservative design language compared to some more flashy competitors.
The iQOO 13 boasts a 6.82-inch Quad HD+ LTPO AMOLED panel with a resolution of
3168×1440 and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Key display features:
● 144Hz Variable Refresh Rate: Adapts refresh rate based on content—great for fluid
scrolling and saving battery during static usage.
● HDR10+ Support: Colors pop when viewing HDR content on Netflix, YouTube, and
other platforms.
● Peak Brightness up to 4500 nits: Ensures comfortable outdoor visibility, even under
harsh direct sunlight.
● Default Resolution at 1080P: For battery efficiency, the phone ships in FHD+ mode.
Users can switch to the full 1440P in settings.
● Ultrasonic In-Display Fingerprint Scanner: Extremely fast and more accurate than
previous iQOO generations, making unlocking seamless.
With its vibrant colors, high brightness, and adaptive refresh rate, the iQOO 13’s display
stands among the best in its price category
A standout feature of the iQOO 13 is its 6000mAh battery, which easily caters to heavy
usage without frequent top-ups.
● All-Day Endurance: In daily mixed usage—5G on most of the time, streaming
videos, browsing, and moderate gaming—it consistently delivers over 9 hours of
Screen-On Time (SOT). Power users may still manage to finish a full day
comfortably.
● 120W Fast Charger: Bundled in the box, it refuels the phone from about 13% to
100% in just 30 minutes, making battery anxiety a thing of the past.
● Thermal Efficiency: While charging speeds are extremely high, the phone manages
heat well, not getting excessively warm during the quick charging cycle.
This combination of a large battery and super-fast charging sets the iQOO 13 apart from
many competing flagships.
Unsurprisingly, the Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite (presumably the high-tier 8-series chip) powers
the iQOO 13 to top-tier benchmark results.
● AnTuTu: Scores are in line with other flagship devices featuring similar chipsets,
showcasing high CPU/GPU performance.
● Everyday Fluidity: Opening apps, multitasking, streaming, and moderate gaming
are all handled effortlessly.
● Long Gaming Sessions: The phone remains consistent, with minimal throttling.
iQOO’s cooling solutions appear efficient enough to sustain stable frame rates in
heavy titles.
The iQOO 13 truly lives up to the idea of a flagship performance powerhouse in 2024.
Good daylight performance with vibrant colors, though somewhat oversaturated
greens and occasional struggles in portrait or low-light shots. Software updates show
improvement, but for camera excellence, you may still prefer alternatives like the GT
7 Pro.
If you want a reliable flagship-level phone that balances speed, battery, and solid features at
a competitive price, the iQOO 13 stands out as a fantastic choice.
Well that's it from my side
