Gandhi Ghat:

Gandhi Ghat, is a significant historical site commemorating Mahatma Gandhi. Established in 1948, the year of Gandhi's assassination, the ghat features a monument and the adjacent Jawahar Kunj garden, both maintained by the Barrackpore Municipality.

The way to go is, first take the train to Barrackpore, then take an auto to Barrackpore Junk Road, then Shankar Mandal Road, then pass Titagarh Junior High School, then you will first reach Gandhi Ghat.

History:

This is a tourism property.When you enter the gate, you will see a road with rows of new types of trees planted on both sides. The peaceful and pleasant environment with new flowers and trees is a good place to calm your mind.
