Riot Game's animated series based on the Runeterra universe, Arcane has been a critical hit winning several awards. But recently in a Bloomberg report it was revealed that the show went way over budget.

League of Legends Executive Producer Paul Bellezza said that even though Netflix and Chinese distributors payed millions to own rights for the show, it still amounted to less than half of the total cost that Riot spent on making show.
