WhatsApp is actively testing chat themes, allowing users to customize chat bubble colors and wallpapers to suit their preferences.

Additionally, a new chat icon is being trialed for group and individual chats. If someone hasn’t set a profile picture, the icon will display their initials, which will also appear on call screens.

These features are currently limited to a select group of testers, but a wider rollout could be on the horizon! Stay tuned!
