GTA 6 Price: Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6), the highly anticipated follow-up to Rockstar Games’ blockbuster franchise, is gearing up for a 2025 release. Packed with groundbreaking features, an expansive map, and the franchise’s first female protagonist, the game promises an unforgettable experience for fans.
GTA 6’s standard edition is projected to retail at Rs 5,999, while premium editions could go up to Rs 7,299.Though pre-order discounts may be available, substantial price drops at launch are unlikely.Certain rumours also suggest that GTA 6 could be priced above $100, which translates to roughly Rs 8,600.It is highly unlikely that the basic edition of any console game could see such an exorbitant price tag. For now, it's safe to speculate that GTA 6 might carry the same price tag any other major AAA release sees right now.
Although Rockstar Games has not officially announced a specific release date, industry buzz points to a launch in the latter half of 2025.
At launch, GTA 6 will be available exclusively for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. PC players may need to hold out until 2026 for their version. Notably, the game will not support older-generation consoles, marking a significant shift in Rockstar’s release strategy.
Set in the fictional city of Leonida, the game draws inspiration from Florida’s Everglades and Keys regions, combining lush backwaters, sun-soaked beaches, and neon-filled urban landscapes. Fans will also revisit the beloved Vice City, seamlessly integrated into the larger Leonida map.
GTA 6 will feature dual protagonists, including a female lead (for the first time) named Lucia, alongside a mysterious partner. This dynamic reportedly echoes the infamous Bonnie and Clyde duo.
