Today I am talking about the Udaan Yatri Cafe - an initiative by the Government to provide food and beverages at extremely affordable prices compared to the super expensive food that's usually found in airports!

On 28th December 2024, the first Udaan Yatri Cafe was launched at Kolkata Airport on the occasion of its 100th anniversary celebration.

It was launched by Shri Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, the Minister of Civil Aviation, who also quoted the PM's vision: "Jo hawai chappal pehenta hai, wo hawai jahaj mein bhi dikhna chahiye. Yeh mera sapna hai."

This is a step towards making that vision a reality.

People have already started applauding this initiative and also requesting for this cafe to open at airports in their cities.
