WhatsApp is rolling out a new enhancement for its 'View Once' feature, making it accessible on linked devices as well. Here’s what you need to know:
• 'View Once' Content on Linked Devices – Previously, 'View Once' photos, videos, and voice messages could only be viewed on the primary device. Now, beta users can access them on linked devices like PCs, tablets, or secondary smartphones.
• Available in Beta Version – This feature is currently being tested in WhatsApp beta version 2.25.3.7 for Android. If you're a beta user, check for the update!
• Seamless Multi-Device Experience – Users no longer have to rely only on their main device to view 'View Once' messages. This makes WhatsApp’s multi-device functionality even better.
• Caution Needed – Even though WhatsApp restricts saving or forwarding 'View Once' content, recipients can still take screenshots or use external methods to capture it. Always share sensitive media carefully.
• Expected Wider Rollout Soon – While currently available for select beta testers, this feature will likely roll out to all users in the coming updates.
