In this thread, covered sunrise on godavari and local sea food auction at early hrs at place called Yanam(U.T of Puducherry),but it is geographical located in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh.

It's my home town as well.

A Hidden Gem: Dawn at the Fish Market 

Got up at 5 AM to catch two amazing sights at Ferry Road - the sunrise over Godavari and our local fish auction. The river was pure magic at dawn, with golden light dancing on the water.

The auction here is unique! Instead of prices going up, they start high (like ₹5,000) and keep dropping until someone jumps in. When a buyer raises their hand - say at ₹2,500 - the deal is done. Not everyone can join though - you need to be a member to bid.
