Fragrance Mouse targets general PC users, offers 10 million click lifespan.

ASUS has revealed its MD101 Fragrance Mouse, which contains a compartment that can house aromatic oils that can then emit that scent.

The mouse vial is housed in the bottom of the mouse and can be removed, filled, and washed out as needed. The compact mouse is wireless, and can function with either 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth, with an estimated 10-million click lifespan and up to a year's worth of battery life, utilizing a single AA battery.

The mouse is launching with an option between an iridescent white or rose clay color, and includes an adjustable sensitivity with options of DPI 1200, 1600, and 2400.ASUS has yet to announce a price or release date for its new Fragrance Mouse.

Rather than selling scent cartridges or requiring ASUS-branded oils, users should be able to use just about any scent they desire with this mouse.

However, ASUS notes that 100% pure essential oils should not be used in the device, and users should instead use essential oils that are designed for devices like diffusers and aroma stones
