Hello!!

Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15 is finnally here on iQOO Z7s!

I recieved the update last month, but took my time to have a complete experience of it.

I'll keep it short on all the Pros and Cons, but before that...

Here's the update log:

Here are some major pros: 

Pros:

1. They have finally introduced app opening animations!! This was available only on higher models for some reason, but it's finnally available on Z7s too.

2. The phone definitely feels much-much-much more smooth... but I believe it's only a visual thing thanks to the animations. Performance seems to be the same.

3. The 2 new visual options on lock screen (depth for wallpaper and AOD combined with lockscreen) are awesome additions.

4. New screenshot features and AI features of Albums is also handy.

5. Expanded folder is one of the best things. Once you get used to it, everything gets much more easier to access.

Cons:

1. Sadly, still no dynamic wallpapers.

2. While animations are smooth, compared to higher models, it's still feels tiny bit sluggish (Maybe it's the 90hz refresh rate).

Possible Bugs??

There seems to be a few bugs in this update too.

1. Every single time, opening the settings (when not running in background in RAM) either from the control centre or from the app drawer freezes the app for a second or two (until the iQOO account loads up maybe?? Strange but irritating)

2. Even though the combined AOD looks cool, switching on the screen makes the AOD blink once making the whole point of being combined a bit worthless. Important note: This didn't happen on my friend's Vivo X90 pro with the same OS update. So this IS a problem with the Z7s.

Overall the update is awesome!!

This is probably the last Android update Z7s will get. Hope, all the bugs are sorted out soon.
